Oscillator OSR of the Oscillating Line of Kendrion

The magnetic system of the oscillating magnet is cast in a plastic housing. It consists of two excitation windings and the two halves of the magnetic body, which are connected at the bottom by a permanent magnet. The magnetic circuit is closed through the body to be oscillated, which represents the armature, over the air gap.

Due to the permanent magnet built into the magnetic body, the system is pre-magnetized and a constant attracting force arises between the magnetic body and the armature. When an alternating voltage is applied to the excitation winding, the force effect of the electromagnetic alternating field overlays the force effect of the permanent magnet.

To achieve the desired oscillating movement, the useful mass (the body to be oscillated) must be made oscillatable by oscillating metals, compression springs, or leaf springs and mounted on a base plate or base.
