Impact vibrators OMW of the Oscillating Line of Kendrion

In the impact vibrator, the magnetic body with the excitation winding is mounted on a base. Above it is the armature plate, whose pole surfaces are separated by an air gap and are parallel to those of the magnetic body.

The armature plate and the base are connected by inclined leaf springs. When an alternating voltage is applied to the excitation winding, a magnetic alternating field is generated whose force effect attracts the armature plate. In the OMW 516004 type, this force effect overlays the force of the permanent magnets used.

The frequency of the resulting force corresponds to the frequency of the applied alternating voltage, which moves the armature in the same rhythm. Due to the inclined leaf springs, the armature plate performs an arched oscillating movement.
