Oscillating magnets OAC of the Oscillating Line of Kendrion

Oscillating magnets of the OAC series are magnets with U-I core shape and two series-connected excitation windings. They are mainly installed in spring-mass systems. The peak forces indicated in the table refer to the warm operating state and to 90% of the rated voltage at a reference temperature of 35°C. Peak force F = magnetic force not at rated air gap in non-oscillating state. With the oscillating magnets, directed, linear oscillating movements of the application device are generated.

Coil and core are encapsulated with glass fiber reinforced polyamide, making them moisture and dust resistant and ideal for harsh operation. The oscillation direction is achieved by the geometric arrangement of the springs in the spring-mass system. The useful oscillation amplitude corresponds to twice the amplitude of the oscillation frequency of the overall system. Magnetic vibrators are continuously adjustable via drive voltage. They reach full conveying capacity immediately when switched on, eliminating disturbing start and run-down effects of unbalance drives.
