Lift magnets of the Control Power Line from Kendrion are short-stroke electromagnets that are characterized by their high magnetic forces, precise switching and dynamic performance. These magnets are generally used as actuators, holding modules in transport systems or for switching valves.

The mode of operation of the electromagnet is based on the force effect exerted on ferromagnetic bodies in the magnetic field. Electromagnets convert electrical energy into mechanical motion energy. Generally, the lifting movement takes place from the start position of the lift to the end position of the lift (active movement direction), while the armature reset is effected by external forces, e.g. by spring, weight or magnetic forces (passive movement direction).

The force transmission must be carried out by a non-magnetizable pin. The installation position is arbitrary, whereby the force extraction is basically only to be carried out in axial direction. The specified magnetic forces are achieved at 90% of the rated voltage and in the warm operating state. The values for the switching times are approximate and apply for rated voltage in warm operating state and load with 70% of the magnetic force of the device.
