Double spreading magnets of the Elevator Line series of Kendrion

Double spreading magnets with short stroke and high magnetic force are particularly suitable for use in elevator, escalator drives and in industrial brakes to ventilate shoe or drum brakes.

In these magnets, the stroke movement takes place from the start position of the lift to the end position of the lift by electromagnetic force effect and the reset by external forces.

The installation position of the products is arbitrary and maintenance-free in case of force extraction in axial direction.

By means of a sealing ring and sealing plate, the interior of the magnet is largely protected against the ingress of dust and moisture.

The specified magnetic forces are achieved at 90% of the rated voltage and in the warm operating state. The values for the switching times apply for rated voltage, warm operating state and load with 70% of the magnetic force of the device.

The products are manufactured and tested according to DIN VDE 0580 / 07.2000.

Note:
Due to the changeover of mains voltage from 220 V AC to 230 V AC and from selenium to silicon Graetz bridge rectifiers, magnets designed for coil voltage of 180 V DC are thermally overloaded.

Duty cycle: 40% and 100%

When operated with overexcitation, a corresponding overexcitation rectifier must be selected. (Overexcitation factor 2:1 or 3.4:1) The AC mains as well as overexcitation and hold voltage must be specified when ordering. The standard duty cycle in these cases is 80%.

Protection class: according to EN 60529 / 09.2000: IP54

Devices of series LED088000A00 to LED165000A00 consist of two simple lift magnet systems housed in one casing. The devices are
suitable for operation with normal excitation or overexcitation. Depending on the application, the mounting is directly on the housing or loose in the double-sided forks.
The devices of this series are prepared for emergency manual ventilation. A large range of overexcitation rectifiers adapted to the magnet and application is available. The main application areas of series 41 334.. are in elevator construction, escalators and moving walkways.
