Motor-driven locking and locking system with a large travel range – reliable, quiet and intelligent
As a manufacturer of high-tech locking systems (or locking units), KENDRION Kuhnke has developed an extremely reliable motor-driven door lock that allows a variety of different locking functions.
This door lock combines a powerful motor-driven lock with a position sensor, a mechanical locking function and a control electronics in one unit.
A main feature is the closing process with adjustable constant closing force, which contributes to an extended service life of the door seals. The lock is also self-adjusting to maintain a consistent locking behavior and offers a variety of different end positions.
Industrial oven use case
The motor-driven door lock has a practical ventilation feature, e.g., used with industrial ovens:
– The lock can ventilate the oven during opening and closing.
– In this position, hot steam can escape to protect the operator from scalds.
Furthermore, the lock offers the following safety features:
