670 – Cut and Crimp Tool
The cut and crimp pliers model 670 features a slim profile (0.085″) that allows access to high-density areas and excellent sightlines for precise positioning. The crimped wires are firmly connected to the PCB while the freshly exposed conductor material improves solderability.
The ultra-lightweight, non-glare black finish and ergonomically shaped Xuro-Rubber handles provide operator comfort.
Cuts and crimps soft wire up to AWG 20 (0.8 mm). Best results are achieved when the hole diameter on the PCB is not larger than 1.5 times the diameter of the wire being cut/crimped.
Versions:
670: standard version
670HD: heavier version of the 670 cut and crimp tool. The larger head (0.115″ thick) simplifies positioning and the robust design allows greater wire capacity and longer tool life
-AS: version with ESD grips
