410 – Micro-Shear® Flush Cutter
The premium version of the world-famous 170-II Micro-Shear® Flush Cutter. Its size and shape are optimized for work in high-density areas. The patented Micro-Shear blade bypass reduces both the cutting effort and the mechanical shock transmitted to the component. High carbon steel blades are precisely ground to ultra-sharp cutting edges. The unique, state-of-the-art heat treatment process produces a Rockwell hardness of 55-57C. The result is a sturdy, precise, and durable flush cutter capable of reliably and economically cutting soft wires up to AWG 18 (1.02 mm).
Versions:
410: standard version
410AS: standard version with ESD grips
410A: ultra-flush cutting version with slightly beveled cutting edges
410F: standard version with cable holder to prevent flying cut wires
