SERVO LINE
Single disc brake
Safety for your application
About the Servo Line
The Servo Line series was developed for integrated installation in servo motors
The spring-applied brakes are designed as holding brakes with emergency stop function. They are suitable for use in various industrial application fields such as automation & robotics, machine tools, packaging & conveying technology, storage systems, production lines, or renewable energies.
The spring-loaded single disc brakes of the Servo Line are designed for both the A-side and B-side integrated installation in servo drives for dry running. To release the braking effect generated by compression springs, the electromagnetic principle by generating a magnetic field is applied. In de-energized state, the brakes are closed and open when a DC voltage is applied.
– The brakes are designed with a flange and firmly screwed
– To increase performance, the new air gap tolerance is minimized to only a few hundredths by a specially developed and patented manufacturing process
– Toothed driver-friction disc connection with minimal play
– In standard design, both flange and face mounting are possible
Thanks to our experience in brake design and modern manufacturing technologies, we can optimally design the service life of the brake depending on temperature and torque.
