Nylon window splice for military, commercial, aircraft, and missile applications that seals against vapors and liquids and provides exceptional wire insulation retention.
Metal rings crimped at both ends of the splice and permanently to the wire insulation for a moisture-tight seal, even at high altitude.
Developed for more than 100 insulator diameters in MIL-Spec wires from #24 to #10 AWG, and available in three versions.
The first type is made with a nylon ring adapter at the wire entry.
The second type without nylon ring adapter.
The third type has a nylon ring adapter at only one end.
A special notch on the outside of the splice allows precise positioning of the splice in the crimp tool before crimping and prevents twisting or horizontal movement during crimping.
The window area of each splice allows visual inspection of the linear level of the crimp relative to the inner metal sleeve.
Wire stops in the splice sleeve indicate the exact insertion depth of the stripped wire ends.
