Product features
Clean in application – quick and easy to install
The Rayflate system consists of a flexible plastic laminate bag coated on both sides with sealing compound strips. After applying lubricant to the sealing strips, the Rayflate sealing element is simply wrapped around the cable and pushed into the conduit. The handy filling device fills the bag with a gas pressure of 3 bar, so that the sealing compound is pressed against the inside of the conduit and the cable jacket. After removing the filling hose, the automatic gel valve system prevents pressure loss. The entire installation takes only a few minutes even in tight spaces.
Versatility
Since the Rayflate sealing adapts independently to various configurations, it can seal reliably even in deformed conduits. Each product size covers a large range of conduit and cable diameters. Depending on conduit diameter, empty conduits and conduits with up to two cables can be sealed without problems. For sealing three or more cables, only an additional sealing star needs to be positioned between the cables. The high-temperature-resistant sealing compound of the sealing star reliably fills all cable gaps. Different cable diameters can also be freely combined.
For new and retrofit installations
The sleeve concept allows use in new and retrofit cable installations. Even if water still flows through the conduit, the Rayflate system seals reliably – this saves significant working time for water stops and drying out.
Simple and quick disassembly
Rayflate seals can be easily and damage-free removed after venting the filling gas. Replacement or retrofitting of cables is thus easily possible and conduits can be sealed repeatedly.
Environmentally friendly disposal
Because installation of Rayflate seals does not require mixing or pouring liquids, possible hazards encountered with cast resin systems are eliminated as are complex and costly disposal costs for contaminated containers. Removed Rayflate sealing elements can be disposed of in household waste (municipal waste). No environmentally harmful substances are released during deposition or incineration. Lubricant residues can be disposed of in wastewater. Empty gas pressure capsules and lubricant bottles can be disposed of with metal scrap or PE/PP plastic collection containers for recycling.
