The standard VG95218 Part 27 generally covers a variety of cable types for different applications. Cable types are classified into types A, B, C, D, and E, including corresponding test requirements.
VG95218 Part 27 addresses standards (referring to national and international standards such as DIN, EN, IEC, etc.) applied in the individual test sections. Halogen-free cables with improved fire performance are specified for ship applications. Cables meeting these requirements belong to types C and E.
