Functional safety and high clamping force
KENDRION develops hose clamp valves according to your requirements, specially designed for use in medical or laboratory technical facilities or devices.
The mechatronic assemblies with coordinated magnet and spring forces ensure secure clamping. The hose clamping can optionally be done by magnetic force (normally open) or by a spring (normally closed). For extended safety requirements, electronic control with position feedback or flow detection can be integrated.
Depending on the application, single-acting linear magnets, reversing solenoids, or rotary magnets are optimized for maximum force at minimal power consumption. Bistable solenoids hold their position with permanent magnetic support de-energized in both end positions and switch by pulse control. These polarized magnets are especially suitable for network-independent applications and battery operation.
