590 – Micro-Pneumatic™ Flush Cutter

Micro-Pneumatic™ series tools are the latest in advanced ergonomic design. Sized to fit comfortably in the operator’s hand, they reduce fatigue and related cumulative trauma disorders (CTDs) experienced with conventional wire cutters.

The 590 Micro-Pneumatic™ cutters can be operated with light thumb or forefinger actuation and can be quickly adjusted for right- or left-handed use. Specifically designed for manufacturing, the overall size allows excellent maneuverability and access to confined spaces, a great advantage in today’s high-density electronics packaging. The unit features quiet (<60 dbA) operation and light weight (6 oz), addressing two major fatigue factors. Cutter heads have a non-glare black finish providing excellent contrast and eye relief. Cutting jaws feature Xuron's patented MicroShear technology for extremely clean, flush cuts. Made from carbon steel and heat-treated to 58-59C Rockwell, Xuron Micro-Pneumatic tools are exceptionally durable. The 590 Micro-Pneumatic is designed for soft wire below 1 mil up to AWG 16 and is suitable for cutting various other materials including plastics. Design permits quick and easy blade replacement. Includes a 6-foot air hose with 1/8" MPT connection. Versions:

590LP: specifically designed for manufacturing environments emphasizing ergonomics and productivity. The relieved head and slim profile of model 590LP allow excellent access in high-density areas. The 590LP is lightweight, extremely quiet, fast, and only requires 50 psi air. Cuts flush soft wire up to AWG 20 (0.8 mm). Comes with 1.83 m air hose with 1/8″-NPT connection.

590F: Designed for high-volume manufacturing requiring ergonomics and productivity. Model 590F Micro-Pneumatic™ fits comfortably in the hand, is lightweight, extremely quiet, and fast. Requires 50 psi air. Cuts flush soft wire up to AWG 16 (1.27 mm). Includes cable holder that collects cut wires. Comes with 1.83 m air hose with 1/8″-NPT connection.
